Congratulations to our Varsity Girls for advancing to the Section IV Class D Semifinals vs. Schenevus at SUNY Delhi on Wednesday, March 5th. The game is a 7:30 pm start. Doors open at 5pm, ahead of the other semifinal game between South Kortright/Andes and Cherry Valley-Springfield.

Join us for a fun-filled morning of reading and Dr. Seuss themed activities with your child and their classmates. Please bring a blanket to sit on and wear your “crazy socks”. Bring your favorite Dr. Seuss book if you have one. We have plenty to share.
We will begin our day gathering in the auditorium with families who are able to come in at 9:00. Around 9:45 teachers will bring their students back to the classroom for some more Dr. Seuss fun. Families will head home or to work. We hope that you can come and help us celebrate.
Boys Varsity at Margaretville this Friday, 2/28, at 6pm. No admission charged.
Girls Varsity HOME with Charlotte Valley this Saturday, 3/1 at 6pm in Stamford. No admission charged.
The SCS Music Club would love for you to join our very talented students and staff for a wonderful performance this Friday at 7pm! Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Flowers and snacks will be sold during intermission! We hope to see you there!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Parents of children living in the Stamford Central School District who will be 5 years old by December 1st are invited to register their children to begin Kindergarten in September 2025. Please call Stamford Central School at (607) 652-7301 (ext. 0) by Friday, March 28, 2025 with the child’s name, address and date of birth. Kindergarten screenings will be scheduled at a later date.
PRE-KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Stamford Central School is taking names of children for the joint Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for the fall of 2025. Children in Stamford and Jefferson School Districts who will be 4 years old by December 1st are eligible. Parents who are interested should call their home school district by Friday, March 28, 2025.
