The American Rescue Plan will be providing each student with a back-to-school supply kit in September. Students in grades 7-12 will receive a Math supply kit as well as an ELA writing supply kit. PreK-6th grade students will receive a kit that includes many of the required items on the class supply lists.
Please see the Stamford Central School website to get a detailed description of each supply kit. Descriptions will be uploaded on Monday, July 29th under the documents tab/parents tab. We hope these kits will provide students with the resources they need to have a successful school year.
This Saturday, July 20, our summer enrichment program will be traveling by charter bus to New York City to experience live theater by seeing the Lion King on Broadway. At this time, there are extra available tickets for Stamford Central School students who have completed 4th - 11th grades. We will leave school at 8am and will arrive back in Stamford at approximately 9:15pm. Tickets are free of charge for our students, as well as lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company prior to the play and dinner on the way home at a travel plaza on the Thruway. If your child is interested, and to secure attendance on the trip, please contact the Summer Enrichment Program directors Kimberly Stahl or Marilyn Ballard at 607-652-7301. Tickets are first come, first serve.
ATTENTION PARENTS OF FALL ATHLETES: required health forms and code of conducts are being mailed home early next week. Health forms are due by August 5th, this is a hard deadline. Code of Conducts are to be brought to the appropriate coach at the first practice. Forms are completed by YOU, not your doctor (unless necessary). Varsity practice starts August 26th and Modified practice starts September 3rd. If you have any questions, get ahold of Coach Brown. Thank you.
Good Morning, Stamford Community. Due to a glitch in our system, some MS/HS report cards have been distributed without grades and/or regents scores. The Guidance Department is working diligently to address the issue. New report cards will be mailed out this week for grades 7-12. Have a good summer!

Baccalaureate rehearsal will be at the Harpersfield United Methodist Church at 3pm on Monday, June 24.
The baccalaureate will be at 7pm on Tuesday, June 25 at the Harpersfield United Methodist Church.
Graduation rehearsal will be under the tent on Wednesday, June 26 at 11am.
Graduation takes place on Saturday, June 29 at 11am. Students should arrive at 9:30 to prepare.

Monday, June 24, Tuesday, June 25, and Wednesday, June 26 will be half days for the elementary school with dismissal at 11:30am.

The High School Awards Assembly Ceremony is today at 9:30 am in the new gym. Due to the capital project construction, please park in the parking lot and walk up the access road to enter the gym through the side doors.. Handicap parking is available.

Congratulations to all of the SCS students that participated in the NYSSMA solo festival yesterday in Norwich! Stamford had 24 students attend performing a total of 33 solos, earning 8 gold scores and 24 silver scores.

Students being picked up early, MUST be picked up by noon so we have an accurate attendance for our drill. We will be leaving the building at 12:45 and driving to South Kortright. We anticipate returning between 1:30 and 1:45pm. Students will ride their regular bus home. Walkers and parent pick ups will be returned to Stamford.
