Please come and support the SCS Drama Club this weekend and see their production of Murder on the 518. A locked door whodunnit murder mystery that will keep you wondering until the very end! Not everything (or everyone) is as it seems. Tickets are $3 for students/seniors and $5 for adults. Children under 3 and veterans are free. We hope to see you there!

Hello, Stamford community! As we get ready for an exciting Mayor’s Cup weekend, here are a few important reminders to ensure everyone has a great time:
🚫 No Dogs Allowed: Russ Archibald Field is a no-dogs-allowed zone. Please leave your furry friends at home to help us keep the field enjoyable for all.
🚗 Spectator Parking: Please park directly across from the bus garage for the most convenient access to the event.
🅿️ CMLL Fields Parking: The parking lot next to the CMLL Fields is reserved for buses, referees, and emergency personnel only. We ask that you avoid parking in this area to keep traffic flowing smoothly.
🌟 Field Etiquette: Our baseball and softball fields have recently been renovated. To help us keep them beautiful, please ensure that children and spectators are respectful of the grounds.
🤝 Family Friendly: This is a family-friendly event, so let’s all be respectful towards players, coaches, referees, and fellow spectators. Good sportsmanship and positive vibes make the event enjoyable for everyone!

Thursday, September 5th, is the first day of school for all students, Pre-K through 12th grade. School begins at 8:03 a.m. but students will be let in as early as 7:45 a.m. for breakfast. We are looking forward to having all the students back!

Welcome! Mr. Thomas O’Brien and I (Dr. Patrick Darfler-Sweeney) will serve as your Interim Principals to start this school year. Together Tom and I have over 80 years of PK-12 experience as teachers, administrators, and athletic coaches. We have worked with Stamford in various capacities as teacher evaluators and Interim administrators since 2018. We look forward to a great opening to the school year and engaging with you and the students.
With a deep sense of gratitude, we thank the secretaries, support staff, and the business office for continuing to make us feel welcome at Stamford. We also thank the custodial staff for their outstanding work during the summer, getting our school and grounds in shape.

This is a message from the Stamford Central School Guidance Office reminding you that the August Regents will be administered on Monday, August 19th and 20th. If you need to retake a regents and haven't already talked with Mrs. Pindar, please call the guidance office by Wednesday, August 14th, 2:00 pm, to add your name to the list.
Attention Parents of Fall Modified and Varsity Athletes: health history packets are due by next Monday, August 5th, in order for your student to be eligible to start practice this fall. Inability to start practice on time will lead to them missing games/matches due to not enough practices. Please bring completed forms to the main office to go in Mr. Brown or Mrs. Sparkes' mailbox.
